ylam deme is an architect (arb, uk) and artist. her work unfolds at the intersection of furniture, textiles, printmaking and architecture. influenced by her diverse heritage, she explores how traditional crafts, particularly those of france, côte d’ivoire and senegal, can inform and inspire new contemporary forms. she has completed private architectural projects in london and works between the uk and côte d’ivoire.
